About Us

Our Founder

ANDY FOSTER

Andy founded Foster Fitness in 2017. He had a vision to create a community where everyone feels welcome to come and get fit and feel healthy.

In 2023 Andy tragically got the news of a cancer diagnosis in the form of a brain tumour, and after a year long battle with the disease he passed away surrounded with the love and support he built over the years.

Andy always knew that for some showing up is the hardest part. He created Foster Fitness to allow the guess work to be taken out of the equation. He strived to provide support to members, which is the reason he introduced only small group classes.

Andy changed the lives of so many of those around him and his legacy continues through the gym. The members started their journey through Andys inspiration and continue to honour him by ensuring they continue on their fitness journey

Our Owner

TINA LAUSZUS

Tina came to Foster Fitness in 2023, in an effort to relieve Andy of some work to allow him time to recover from treatment. She took over the gym early in 2024

Tina graduated university in 2023 with a Bachelor of Human Movement and a Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Science. This has given her a wealth of knowledge to share with her clients. She also has a certificate III and IV in Fitness and Personal Training.

Tina has an infectious positive attitude that she shares with everyone she meets, and strives to make exercise a fun and happy experience. She believes that no matter your fitness level everyone should feel welcome in the gym.

Tina specialises in perfecting form in movements. She also has a focus in functioning training, she believes that training should not have a focus on weight loss, rather it should promote functional movement. This is so that it can improve your daily life and allow you to do more.

“One day or Day one?.”
